T60 is a highly regarded, audiophile-grade belt-drive turntable originally introduced in 1982 as the flagship model of Harman Kardon's "T" series line. • Tonearm: Ultra-low-mass straight tonearm designed by Ito, featuring an effective length of 226mm and an offset angle of 25.5 degrees to optimize tracking accuracy.
• Chassis Design: Three-point floating suspension system that mechanically separates the platter and tonearm from the outer base to eliminate acoustic feedback.
• Platter: High-density, die-cast aluminum platter accompanied by a heavy-density disc stabilizer weight.

Optically Sensed Auto-Lift: At the end of a record side, an optical sensor triggers a mechanical lift to raise the tonearm and shut off the motor.
