T60 is a highly regarded, audiophile-grade belt-drive turntable originally introduced in 1982 as the flagship model of Harman Kardon's "T" series line. It is widely celebrated in the vintage audio community for its exceptional acoustic isolation, minimalist styling, and impressive technical performance that rivaled much more expensive decks of its era.

  • Drive System: Belt-drive mechanism powered by a frequency-governed DC servo motor.
  • Speed Control: Quartz-locked speed control for accurate playback, with a manual override option and a built-in LED stroboscope.
  • Tonearm: Ultra-low-mass straight tonearm designed by Ito, featuring an effective length of 226mm and an offset angle of 25.5 degrees to optimize tracking accuracy.
  • Chassis Design: Three-point floating suspension system that mechanically separates the platter and tonearm from the outer base to eliminate acoustic feedback.
  • Platter: High-density, die-cast aluminum platter accompanied by a heavy-density disc stabilizer weight.

Optically Sensed Auto-Lift: At the end of a record side, an optical sensor triggers a mechanical lift to raise the tonearm and shut off the motor.
